So, about this movie.
I thought it was great, Loki was amazingly well characterized, he practically stole the film(though I'm hoping he turns chaotic evil in the next movie rather than motivated by angst).
It had a few minor issues likethe anticlimatic destroyer battle, the half-assed romance with Jane Foster that seemed too schoolgirl-giggly to me, and the fast pacing in terms of how little time it took for Thor to "redeem" himselfbut it was a solid adaptation.
Now, taking it out of the context of the comic fan, I'm kind of worried about how will it do amongst casual movie goers.
Thor is not that iconic of a superhero that people will be going "Oh finally, a thor movie!" and I wouldn't be surprised if many didn't know it was a comic book adaptation, and thought it was a liberal interpretation of the norse gods instead.
And things likethe hawkeye cameothat alienate non-fans as well.
What do you think?
