Hardmode: Only one hero from each group (only one green lantern, only one Batman)
Hardcore mode: Only one of each archetype (One science hero)
Impossible mode: Make it sound good

Batman was doing battle with a dangerous sociopath known as Rorschach in Gotham City when, for reasons unknown, they were flung back in time to the Gotham of the Victorian era!
Now these strange bedfellows must team up if they want to unravel the mysteries surrounding their excursion through time - but when they come across the abominable Mr.Hyde, who resides now in Gotham having faked his own death in London they are caught up in 19th century scandal and intrigue involving a dark, Lovecraftian secret lurking deep below Gotham harbour.

Over the course of this adventure the trio slowly form bonds thanks to their fucked up personalities and methods, their relationships with alter egos and their troubled childhoods (Or, in Hydes case, transformation)

Team Name: Envoys of Earth

The UN seeks to make alliences across the stars hoping to trade their own technology, art, and science with other races in order to advance as a society. The main HLA members however all have important things to do on earth, what with it being the center of all life and everything attacking it. Hence heroes are chosen who are, in the eyes of the UN, expendable.

Kyle Rayner is a Green Lantern and thus has experiance communicating and understanding alien life.
Donna Troy was formerly a Darkstar and also patrolled the galaxy.
Jason Todd is along for the ride because a deductive thinker was needed, but he also needed to be expendable.
Jaime Reyes uses technology created by an alien race, and also has translation capabilities.
Wally West volunteers for the mission knowing that without a speedster the group will encounter a harder time.
Virgil Hawkins signs up for the expedition because his control over magnetisim and electricity would be useful for mantinence onboard the ship and also for harvesting minerals out in space.
Connor Hawke is brought along at the insistence of Kyle, who wants to give his long time friend a chance to regain the combat skills he lost when he was shot in the head.
Roy Harper is along for the ride incase things go sour and force is necissary.
Michael Jon Carter is along at the request of Rip Hunter, apparenlty using his knowledge of the future to make sure the events go as smooth as possible.
Augustus Freeman is along for one very simple reason, he is an alien and will be able to show how aliens and humans get along. He assured Superman that he could handle the job

The adventure sends the Envoys across the stars as they interact with other characters in the cosmic DCU. Along the way they'll meet old and new villains. For areas where a Green Lantern would be restricted from going, Kyle dons armor that covers his symbols and grants him construct weaponry he also still has the blue ring.
Donna is travelling as Wonder Woman, because... well lets face it the armor is awesome.

But for the sake of sense

Hardware, along for the ride because he designed the damn ship and someone needs to maintain it, doesn't go into battle personally buy uses his Hardware Bots via remote control.
Steel, helped in the construction of the ship and also along to maintain it, also old enough to give aid to the younger members of the crew. Fights in his armor when need be.

For Kraven, it is all about the hunt, of course. This is the shit the Punisher was reborn for. Toxin is just glad for targets he can kill without guilt. Slapstick just wants to be taken seriously, and figures this is the best way to do it. And Elektra is "just killing time until the next time someone kills me."

Premise: S.H.I.E.L.D. discovers that small A.I.M. splinter cells are fucking everywhere throughout the world working on terrible weapons while simultaneously harassing the local populations. Pym and Samson get sent to take one them out one by one. Others who have been screwed over by A.I.M. join them along the way, including Aaron Stack, Ben Reilly (resurrected by A.I.M. for some reason), The Spot and Dr. Octopus. Lots of guest-appearances by science-based heroes and villains.
