I remmeber watching a cartoon, maybe around 10 years ago, the main character was a black kid, his love interest was a chinese princess, or at least a chinese girl in a fancy dress.
They rode around in this locomotive, which later in the series gained the ability to fly through the use of magnets.
I remember 2 episodes, one where they couldnt use the magnets because they were in a forest made of metal, and one where they got into an island balanced on top of a mountain, where the people had to move around all the time to stop it from falling. I remember they solved this island's problem by making everyone move to the center of it.
