I went there when I was younger on a visit to Florida.

They had Mega Drives (Yes, britfag, what of it, come at me etc.) set up with Aah! Real Monsters the game playing at the entrance.

Can't remember if I actually got to play them though, but I remember going there at least and being in awe because I fucking LOVED Nickelodeon and Mega Drives. What a fucking awesome combo.

Honestly the ride is pretty awesome. And the fact they have the Quick-E-Mart next to it selling those fucking delicious Simpsons Movie Donuts, Squishies, Buzz Cola and Duff Beer(actually energy drinks, but still) is fucking awesome.

Also, the ride itself is more old-Simpsons then new-Simpsons, and half the fun is seeing all the cool stuff before the ride.

Props and costumes are quite undervalued. A big part of it is probably that no one feels like they are in a position to sell it, they don't own it and it isn't their responsibility to maintain it.
Anyone that can sign off on that is too divorced from the rank and file to consider it, too rich to bother if they did.

Most of the Lost Continent was falling apart so they re-themed it and kept the bits that were still popular.

Generally that is what they do when rides become broken down as usually they have gone through a good cycle. BTTF was awesome but the simulators were breaking down and just updating them would be not enough to justify the cost. It's much more profitable to re-theme the ride and use it to bring in new visitors to the park.

As for the rest of the town square...who cares? We never really say anything but the clock tower and that soda shop...

Pretty sure they rebuilt the entire set, though. That's one of Universal's most-used sets, and at the time of the fire was used as the town square for Ghost Whisperer, so they had to rebuild it.

Slime Cake

CAKE:
1 box yellow cake mix
other ingredients on box

SLIME:
1 lg vanilla instant pudding
other ingredients on box
8 - 12 drops green food coloring

FILLING:
1/2 pint chilled heavy cream
1 Tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
8 - 12 drops green food coloring

INSTRUCTIONS:

Make cake according to box directions in two 8- or 9-inch pans.

Follow instructions for pudding, adding the food coloring as you blend it. Cover the mixture and refrigerate at least one hour.

Mix all filling ingredients together in medium-size mixing bowl. With an electric mixer, whip the cream mixture until it forms soft peaks.

Place one layer of the cake on a serving plate. Spread the whipped cream thickly and evenly over the top of the cake. Put the other layer on top of the whipped cream. Cover the cake with foil and refrigerate until you're ready to serve.

Place slime in plastic bag and slowly squeeze over uncovered cake. Serve soon.

You really should watch one of them. My personal recommendations would be the first 2 movies (Carl Weathers is in the first 4 movies). If your not a fan of those 2, you will not love the character of Rocky Balboa to watch the other 4 movies. But Rocky 3 has Mr. T and cameo Hulk Hogan with a come back arch. Rocky 4's main "antagonist" has Dolph Lundgren, has a revenge arch. Rocky 5 tells a story of how a retired athlete falls on hard times and needs to find a new way to support his family. Rocky Balboa (Rocky 6 imo) made for the fans of the franchise to properly draw down the curtains to this character.

A couple weeks ago I went to Mountain Creek with some of my friends.
It was around 6 o clock and me and my bro we taking a two person tube up the hill to go on one more ride.
I think it was the Colorado river ride, but I'm not sure. The attendant was kinda angry since we were the last dudes and he wanted to go home.

Dog Patch Island is the name of it, I believe. The owners were pretty cool about letting people roam the abandoned park up until somebody got hurt. Now they're extremely paranoid and the grounds are patrolled.

It's always really unsettling to come across happy clown faces and other very "happy" things in an abandoned amusement park. An abandoned themepark chain called Santa's Village is a good example of this.

Goddamn it. I fucking hated 90's television and culture. I used to dread the sight of skateboards and EXTREME shit. I used to not be able to give half a fuck about any of it.

The only decent thing to come out of the 90's was Pokemon, and even that didn't last.

In fact, seeing all of this again made me realize that the 90's was one more vacuous, stupid and insufferable decade.

Thankfully the information age is much better. Fuck you, 90s. Rest in pieces. That goes for all your shitty animatronics too.

Whichever one it was, I remember that they never told you how to play those or get to the actual game in a way that my ten-or-younger self could understand. But once I understood how to play, I liked them better than the actual game.

This was when hardly anyone in my area had internet, but my dad had dial-up so when I stayed with him I made sure to get up early to play the games on the Nick website and check Neopets.
