We all have our favourite animated series. Maybe it's a guilty pleasure, or makes you nostalgic for your childhood, or makes you laugh.

Let's forget about those for a moment. I'm looking for the cartoons that you think are stright-up works of art, that deserve the same kind of recognition as paintings in galleries or great works of literature. They must exist, but I don't know about them - with the exception of Samurai Jack.
