So, as a broke kid in the 90's, all of my knowledge of superheros came from the cartoons and the movies.
Now as a grown ass man with disposable income, I want to read stories about those characters. However, I don't want to be bogged down by the YEARS I've missed out on.
Somebody else compared it to Sherlock Holmes: all of the books are their own thing. They're is a continuity, but you can pick up and read ANY of them, in pretty much any order if you really wanted to. All that really matters is that you're getting a Sherlock story, no leading up to the next book, no call backs to the book 4 years ago. Just Sherlock being Sherlock.
Thats pretty much what I'm looking for, but with comic characters. Help me out here /co/
