>>36310524There's some fan-subtitled episodes on Youtube, so everything at times sounds laughably wonky (the Japanese opening is downright hilarious). The dub is probably better.
I don't really like the anime girl. I related a lot to Lilo because she was a weird kid, and I was a weird kid. She'd had to mentally mature faster than other girls her age, but emotionally she was still a child and acted out like one.
This new girl is more prototypical 'hero' material. 'Brash, young warrior who always protects the weak.'
But Stitch is still an adorable little turd so that's about right.
The macguffin is 'Stitch has to do exactly 43 good deeds so a magical stone will grant his wish of being the strongest in the galaxy.' It's a sequel to the American cartoon--which I didn't watch--so characters still know each other.
Stitch himself is well-animated and expressive, so are the other aliens. Pleakley and Jumba act like an old married couple. I'm holding out for the episodes
