I have to ask, why is Hades cast as the villain here?

Out of all the Greek pantheon he's like the least doucheiest of the gods. Zeus raped multiple women, multiple times and in multiple forms. Poseidon made sure one of his avatars was stranded at sea for a decade and Hera doomed an entire people (Trojans) just because their king didn't think she was hot.
