>>37112986Here's the difference. You're ashes when you burn to death, or charred, right? Imagine being crushed to death, or have your trachea sliced open, or an icicle in your throat, being stoned to death or crushed to death by a boulder. Imagine being buried alive with rock, or hell, flash-froze to death.
What's more chilling? Looking at a bunch of ashes/charred corpse, or a perfectly preserved corpse who's brain shut down as they succumbed to hypothermia/froze to death, or the image of an icicle impaled through their head. Or the look of a crushed body.
Shit, there's a lot of ways to murder people as a waterbender and earthbender, horrifically. There's also that time a couple of dudes got trapped in a metal box and suffocated to death.
Airbenders don't murder, though the look of a man or woman who was asphyxiated suddenly and the air literally removed from them would go for some pretty fucking horrible stuff.
That's the stuff of controversies and we're already at the head of them. Do we really need to be head of the 'paints other benders in a murderous light' controversey, too, over allegations of trying to defame the Earth Kingdom/Water Tribals? Or better yet..
Can we fucking afford to lose our provisions and lower-end debts, or do we want to risk incuring the wrath enough to the point where we have to pay MORE? Do you want the Fire Nation to suffer a debt crisis, son?
