Demonstrates his new ability on a notorious bender criminal in front his chi-blocking disciples, the Equalist movement is born. Noatok, now calling himself Amon, dons the mask and decides to take his followers to the heart of bending oppression, Republic City.
Amon inevitably confronts his brother and takes his bending, Tarrlok recognizes his brother's unique ability to resist bloodbending and ascertains the truth. Korra's bending is taken away, as in the finale, except for air but Amon is killed. Korra, having learned from Tarrlok the truth behind Amon's power, heads directly to the South Pole to meet with Katara, the last bloodbending master, only to find she has died.
Book 2: Chi, revolves around Korra scouring the globe looking for a remedy to Amon's debending, meeting with Ty Lee's chi-blocking warlord descendant, Equalists and even Tarrlok.
That was cathartic.
