Billions of dollars a year are dumped into the health cares system, just in the States, to prolong the life and attempt to treat people whose medical problems are the single result of obesity. So, how much do you think the healthcare system would deflate if, say, in the next 20 years America's obesity rate fell from 60% to say 15%, or ever just 25%? How many billions of dollars could we save that we could then turn around and spend on shit like feeding kids in Africa or any of that other stuff you mentioned? All this wasted money due to, in the vast majority of cases, lack of self-control.
