I'd love to see a Psychonauts cartoon. My own real concern is it'd be really easy to screw it up by going with a "brain-a-week" type deal.

Actually I think I'd still really enjoy it, even if they made it formulaic.

More specifically, if Nintendo greenlit an anime or cartoon, 4kids had first dibs on dubbing or airing it. So ultimately it was still up to Nintendo.

Proabably do a few flips. Some episodes being about venturing inside the minds of others, other times camp stuff in Lake Oblongata (we have a HUGE enough cast for that... swimming, competitions, campfire stories, etc, Coach Oleander "toughening" the kids up... Teeeveeeee), other times it's Raz and... oh God, I forgot his name.. the old guy who LOVES bacon and is only sane when surrounded by Psitanium (I remember the mineral's name, but not Raz's potential mentor?)

Meh, we already had a snippet of Blue Dragon on US airwaves UP UNTIL AFTER the episode introducing Bouquet (show disappeared since even CHANGING THE SCRIPT didn't change the fact that she's naked, and the yellow guy wanted to squeeze her boobs via-body language).

30 or so episodes, most of which are just self-contained adventures that have Ellen and Keats exploring the various realms and learning how to tame folks and their ids. Some would even be based on old folktales, but with new twists, like the Honest Axe story.

The nice thing about Jazz Jackrabbit is that there really isn't too much to it. All there is to know is:
-Main character is a green bunny with guns
-Lots of weird planets
-Evil turtles
-Cool soundtrack

Lots of flexibility if you wanted to make it a cartoon. You could do almost anything and it would still work.

I love Jak and Ratchet as much as the next nostalgic gamer. But in all honesty, Sly Cooper's the only one of those that could work well. Jak and Ratchet could probably do some animated shorts, but the stories are a little too complex to just break down into cartoon format.

I would either say a series that blends elements of the various games together into something episodic, but with a gradual plot as Link grows and becomes stronger to finally stop Ganon (think the first cartoon.... but actually GOOD). Or, a multiple series show that starts off with Ocarina of Time, and then later sequel shows follow one of the timelines.
