Seems like Battle Stadium DON got all the attention in the gaming room, but only a handful of the people watching actually wanted to play it. Proof that the game was more fun to watch than play? Or just that fanboys fear being beaten down at games in public?

It is real. Think Smash Bros with super moves and characters from DBZ, Naruto, and One Piece. The game attracted crowds all weekends. Unfortunatly, the game's balance is fucked to hell-Goku and Gohan are insanely overpowered and their super moves pretty much guarentee them a win (wich I guess is accurate to the anime, but doesn't make for a very fun game.) It seemed like the Naruto characters were all weak and no one wanted to play them (except Sasuke) but maybe this is because everyone's tired of Naruto and its endless filler by now.

DON sucked ass. Considering all the attention it got, I was expecting a Naruto:GNT or Smash Bros quality game. Not that "attack, attack, attack, pause for special, repeat" stuff. Seriously, why does the game have to pause for each special when you can launch them every three seconds?

Ever played the 4th one? Then STFU.

I'm not saying that the Naruto game is a classic, but at least it has some amount of depth to it for an anime based fighting game. And I'm not about to compare DON to Tekken, VF, KoF, or SF. That would be an insult to real fighting games.

Yes. It's a generic fighter with far longer super animations than DON and is deeply inferior to the Narutimate Hero games.
