This con will probably be hard fail - its the first year and they appear to have ZERO marketing sense (no ads at Otakon, DURRR). A 4chan invasion could well kill them.

Most Definately we should. The PA convention center has direct access to a large underground transit/commerce concourse, enabling a quick escape!

Because I remember hearing "Zenkaicon... thats a Philly con!" then driving all the way to King of Prussia. However, I know at least one of you was there because I found one of those Anonymous buttons they give out at 4chan panels.

Did it suck? I grew up in King of Prussia and used to work in the corporate wastelands behind the convention center (a 1st wave dot-com, lol), so I know that convention center 1) sucks and 2) is totally NOT made for an anime con.

But Vanilla Ice had a 2007 New Year's concert there, no shit.

it was in some hotel.. since the main big rooms were being used up for 3 larger conventions (one was health & wellness, another was video games..), there was not much room left at all for Zenkai. It was just some very narrow, labyrinth-like hallways and tiny rooms wedged in there. The layout was awful and events, cosplay, etc was full of fail. Game room had some DDR and Guitar Hero and Karaoke Revolution. ((((

Yep. That's Valley Forge Convention Center, just like I remember it. I'll pass on Zenkaikon, but I'll still check out Tandokucon.

The best part about the philly convention center is that its right near Reading Terminal. I worked at Wizard World Philly this year and on all my breaks I made falafel runs ;O; sooo good.
