Since I see some of the crazy rules stuff, just thought I should post what we were told on the meeting before AWA.
This was told to us by the hot staff chair girl and this black guy who was in charge of security (which about only 3 of that group could've posed a threat)
1) The 2 Strike rule. Only security could pull badges, and you had 2 strikes. This sucked for regular staff due to the fact that security was usually busy confiscating swords (see 4)
2) The Alcohol BS, AWA Staff hated this rule but had to oblige thanks to the contract. But how do you monitor it? Didn't execute too well from what I saw.
3) Nudity. If you could see something, call security. Again, poor execution.
4) No live metal. I got a laugh out of how defensive the staff got on this one. "But they'll be peace-bound!" Just put the fucking sword away... The rules were "If it looks like a weapon, it's a weapon, and if it's wielded like a weapon, it's a weapon." This was then followed by black security guy stating the "coolest thing he's ever seen" being the wooden sword. Kinda shows how far this guy's been.
5) There will be a rave this year.
Amendment to 5) Do not call it a rave. Raves include drugs. (Utter bull, but meh)
