anybody else think the AMV contest this year was pretty lackluster? Good videos were like, Juke Box Hero, that ef video, MAYBE the kyon girlfriend video, and the high school never ends video

the entire comedy section was pretty disappointing

I noticed a lot of the videos were out of sync by a few frames and had a scrolling horizontal bar, it makes me think that the projector was fucked up to boot.

it seemed alot of videos with potential were deemed not worth the contest and they just did a circle jerk with their friends in the actual contest. some of the overflow videos were better

I enjoyed the trailer/parody videos, but the legalfags made the staff take them down for Sunday, and probably Saturday. I'm glad I saw them when I did.

My favorite video was Baccano Swing. My favorite trailer/parody was Eureka Transformers.

Yeah, I love how the second Afro Samurai video was the first one, only faster.

By the way, remember that Full Metal Panic video with the Britney Spears remix? While I thought the video was pretty good, that had no place in the comedy section.
