dmitrys, I really don't care for the direction your art has gone. There was a point, early in your career here, at which I found it to be at least somewhat enjoyable; but the proportions that you utilize now, and something about the finish on your pieces (possibly to do with the inking? though I don't know about much other than sketching) just seem kind of bland and tasteless.

Draw whatever, and in whatever way, makes you happy; I'm just offering a different viewpoint on the matter.

I think this is probably my favorite of the stuff I've seen from you, from a couple years back or so. I mean, I've always been more a fan of small-to-normal sized breasts and skinny figures than I have of the proportions you use these days, so I'm sure that's coloring my perspective, but I have to say that a good part of why I prefer your old stuff is that it seemed to have a more distinctive style, both in coloring and lines, and just in the way the figures were drawn. But I've always had a penchant for more distinctive artstyles—that's probably one of the biggest reasons I like, for example, Saiki Keita's stuff so much.

Your stuff is, in terms of technique, still well-executed; it just feels that you've lost some of what made your pictures stand out.

Also, please point out another artist who uses Dmitrys' current style because I sure haven't seen any. He is still unique just not in the way YOU want.

Simply put...make one person happy(me) and you will always be bound to make someone else unhappy(you) in the process. There is no pleasing everyone.

In the end it's all up to Dmitrys, he can do whatever the fuck he wants with his style, coloring, content choices, etc etc because it's him spending the hundreds of hours working his ass off. Whatever way he chooses to go...you guys have ZERO say in it.

We say the same thing because we enjoy the art and appreciate it. We want to share our appreciation with the artist since he actually browses 4chan. People who don't like the art sage, troll and attempt to derail the thread with bullshit.

Don't worry Ehhh, you're not entirely alone in your appreciation of the older style. Your preference for it might put you into a pretty small group, but there are plenty of people who LIKED it. I admit to a certain fondness for many of the sketches and uncolored works. There is only one instance though, in which I preferred the sketch to the final version. You can probably guess which one that is.

I actualy agree with you , this sketch was my first idea that i proposed to client and i lieked it allot more , client was more concerned with showing off slave girl , so i had to settle for somthing less intresting , or maybe its just my lack of imagenation.
All of my older stuff was actualy made for my self, when it was fun descovering and learning new stuff. Nowdays most of my work are commission and i feel like i have to do them to a certain standart and what peopel expect. Its a strange balance and ill be looking into it.

i do like both, though. but as an artist i'm more drawn to the polished coloring that i've seen in his later work.

Its all pure digital.
Sketch ,ink and color in Photoshop CS2 , but i used PS7 for ages. I do everything with 12"x9" Wacom Intous 3 .

I think its just the fact that his work is so much more polished now in its final form? dmitrys thats not to say the polished work isnt GREAT (and it is, it looks awesome), but the more rough-hewn style is equally appealing, and it stands out more.

For my part, its usually something like facial expression and uniqueness of the face/body shape that makes a piece stand out to me.

Personal opinion following:
What I'd love to see is more of your non-dickgirl art. This is just something personal, but.. well, maybeee, sometiiimes could you do a non Dickgirl variation of some pictures? I think recently the girls have gotten a bit ridiculous proportionwise, dicks the size of legs, tits twice as big as heads, and more muscels than schwarzenegger can offer.
