>>2168632Have you ever tried training a real domestic cat? They can learn to use litterboxes, they can play and recognize their name and not climb the furniture, but a cat is unlikely to sit up and beg.
This is a bit of a hobbyhorse for me: I think most petgirls are closer to dogs than cats, even if they're often visualized as the later. They perform, they follow commands, they want to please their masters--all very doglike. A cat on the other hand wants to do what the cat wants to do.
I guess it depends on what sort of catgirl you want (or she wants to be). A lazy insolent housecat is content to lie around, catnap, have their food served for them. A playful kitten is more active, social, human-centric, and in search of entertainment. A cat in heat is sexually wanton, especially in the evenings, with plentiful posturing and vocalization. An barn or feral cat is much more self-sufficient, wild, and human-wary. All cats are generally fastidious. And of course you can mandate crawling, cat-like sleep/lying postures, meowing, purring, kneeding, such as it pleases you.
My personal training as just been the safe environment and supportive owner which allow me to act like the animal I feel inside. So what I'm offering isn't a BDSM/fetish catgirl manual by any means. My opinions may also be in the minority, so take them with salt. But I come back to: What delights us about cats is that they're enigmatic--snuggly, beautiful, selfish, moody, playful, but most of all very self-centric and in many ways self-contained. Cats depend on us for food, comfort, and safety; they desire us for attention; they don't depend on us for constant emotional approval. In my eyes, a proper catgirl isn't a BDSM icon of submissive obedience. She wants kneel on all fours and arch her back for you, but she also has whims and desires of her own.
I could write a novel of my thoughts on this, so if you want clarification by all means ask!
