This may be a repost, due to internet problems, but:
>>3521492Ignore this person's bitching. As long as you keep ERP to yourself, out of the public eye, and don't make your character descriptions overtly sexual, you can be a perfectly respectable and acceptable RPer.
>>3521483If you're going to look for a good Guild, start with a normal one. Darknest is also nice, if you get into the community first on their website. I'm part of it. I suggest avoiding their channel normally and setting up eRP from the website instead, because the channel is pretty much a public sex room half the time. I don't play WoW anymore, and even when I did I didn't do a lot with the Darknest channel.
>>3521471This is another good set of rules to follow. Let me make a personal suggestion, though: If you're looking for RP or ERP, you need to find a "Mentor" at some point, an expert or at least skilled RPer to give you some pointers and help you hone your skills. Someone understanding, who's willing to take the time to help you improve.
I've been RPing thirteen years now, and honestly I never had anyone to help me. I learned from scratch, and I've been involved in every variety of RP that I could get into. After that long, you just settle into what works for you and have fun with it. I have about a dozen regular partners, both regular and erotic, and have had hundreds of characters over the years. Just find what works for you, and if you can find someone to help hook you up with some practice, go for it.
