Yep! We have it. Physics, which uses notion of real numbers, is a pseudoscience, because it claims existence of infinitesimal quantities.
I think you are misunderstanding the relationship between mathematics and physics. We don't introduce the real numbers because some physical objects actually have irrational lengths. Rather, we do so because they are a uniquely good model for physical length. With the reals everything works neatly
