App to browse images

What program do people use to browse their collection of images?

I use the latest ACDSee but it doesn't support unicode characters. That means any images that have jap chars in the file OR folder name do not get displayed (X_x)

I use FSviewer, but it has the same sort of problems as ACDsee. At least it's freeware, though.

I never did like the way IRFanView did thing. I could never customize the way it worked to make things quite the way I'm used to. FSviewer works pretty much the same as ACDsee, which is why I use it.

ACDSee can be made to work with Applocale, thus supporting unicode. It's a matter of copying some dll files to some specific folders. I don't remember the details, but I'm sure you can google them. Worked fine for me (pic related).
I can't associate image files to the applocaled ACDSee, though. It would be much easier to open images by double-clicking them. Any tips?

PROTIP: for linux fags like me. gimageview its old now and isnt updated but its the best there is for over all features.

The bigest point is that it has a duplicate finder that can search on similarity, md5 sums or file size so it keeps all your folders dupe free.

PageUp and PageDown to change picture, numkeys 1-2-3 to change visualization, + and - to change zoom, Home and End to jump quikly through a large picture (useful when you read manga), Del to quickly hide the window when you don't want others to see what you're doing and some other commands i won't write here...

It's a bit slow loading pictures and written in crappy visual basic, but I do use this a lot and maybe someone of you may like it..
