So I just got into a huge fight with my friend because his gf borrowed and ruined my jacket.

If you live in the states, you should be able to take her to small claims court for theft and destruction of personal property. Do you have proof that she took it and that is was undamaged before she took it? She will also be charged for perjury if she lies about it and you have the proof.

Acne is great quality. My guess is she borrowed it to look cute, then realised it wasn't worth it since it was gigantic on her, put it in her bag or whatever women carry and something tore it in the bag.

Acne's quality varies a lot. For example, their sweats are shit quality. I don't know about this jacket, but it looks pretty shitty from the picture in terms of design at least.

Update: Found proof of my purchase as well as obtained a recording of her admitting she borrowed it and it getting torn. (She tore it climbing through a chain-link fence (why?) )

Told her I'm taking to small claims, she seems so to be getting the message now.
