How does one know if they are good enough to be a model? All my female friends say I'm good looking, but those are my friends, they lie. Also, do I appear more male or female? Does androgyny help or hinder me? Pic related, it's me. Inb4 you look twelve.

I'm very androgynous as well, but I'm on the short-side and have moles. :I So modelling is unlikely for me. Androgyny will help with some agencies, others not. I guess try to make it a 'point' about yourself?

for most of the more known modelling agencies, theyre looking for girls that are like 5'7", 5'8" minimum and very thin. but there are exceptions and there are modelling agencies that look for different things. if you wanna be a model send out some pictures or go to some open calls. i think everyone who wants to should be able to try at least.

increase your testosterone levels and change your proportions. work out a lot. then come back and ask if you are good enough to be a male model.

Dude you are five years old.
First of most agencies will convince you to make a book, and accept you just like that. You pay for the book, they loose nothing with the trade.

So that's a risc you should be willing to take, most of the idiots going around claiming to be models just made a 50€ book for some half assed model agencie.

Go to one of those promotional castings, best way to test your potential.
If you end up making a book and paying for it, they can always end up calling you for jobs, if they do that'll be a good hint.
