Hey guys, got $700 or so to drop on some boots, looking for those ones that /fa/ loves, can't remember the brand though or model though.

Pic sort of related, I think they are military boots.

Fiorentini + Baker and n.d.c. both do shoes with a kind of soft, tough leather (though the n.d.c. ones usually see a lot of distressing). You could also just buy regular Dayton ones if you like the shape but aren't too picky about the finish.

In general, I've heard pretty positive things about Ksubi shoes. Definitely nothing that you'd spend the rest of life you craving, but the styling and quality seem right in line with what you're paying.

The Field Jacket I got was top tier as well.
