Let's just say someone purchased a shirt that looks [exactly] like the one pictured.

How would you guys recommend it be worn? Tucked/untucked, sleeves rolled or not, etc.

by the way, /fa/ will hate on a&f but honestly if you're under 21 and relatively in shape, you will look nice/people will like you and only dirty hippies will hate you.

But A&F is highly overpriced for the quality. American Eagle does just as well as A&F and their button ups are a lot cheaper. At least, the ones on sale are. They fit me like sex. And they don't put a gigantic logo on the front. Well, the ones I have don't have a logo at all.

I got that shirt for $15 with a discount and coupon, and I don't really mind the logo (brand is irrelevant to me...I only really care about fit).

And would you guys recommend this only with jeans untucked? I know wearing with shorts is kind of bro mode, but it looks kind of weird with my jeans.

Also, I'm going to shrink it so it's more fitted (a bit loose at the moment), and does anyone know how much A&F shirts shrink typically? (Cold wash low heat dry)

i snagged a few good looking plaids for extremely cheap during a sale a few months ago. (honestly the only way to buy them). I can't say i've noticed any shrinking at all. But then again, i only wash my clothes on cold/cold. My size small shirt is starting to get too small, but i'm not sure if thats because of shrinkage or the muscle i've recently packed on recently.

All right, I've heard mixed things about the shrinking, and I wanted to get someone's opinion who's knowledgeable. Were the plaids 100% cotton, though, or a mix?

I know, I was asking if wearing it with shorts would be too brash. I'm not going to wear it with my jeans right now because it looks awkward, but I have some chinos and a pair of shorts I can wear it with unless I'll end up looking like a frat kid in the shorts.

Shit, I pretty much have this exact same shirt OP, only its American Eagle.

I actually wore it today, untucked and sleeves rolled up. Can't go wrong. Wear with dark navy jeans. Get pussy.

Hollister/Abercrombie shirts are way too short to stay tucked in, at least if you buy your appropriate size. They have to be untucked.

American Eagle shirts are longer, but not dress-shirt-long so they look fine tucked and untucked.

That being said, all these brands look like faded paper mache shit in person, very disappointing for the price.

The one I received has rather rich colors, but I haven't washed it yet. It's a high quality fabric, if only cotton. I have no experience with any other shirts though.
