I will never like tattoos and I instantly tend to view people who have them in a negative way. This is reaffirmed when I see the actual tattoo and it's a dumb fucking tiger put on a poor place on the body, the artist has shit composition and isn't talented, and it means nothing to the person besides "woahh cool tiger on my leg lol". Even if it the tattoo does have a meaning, like "my grandpa died and he sailed around the Pacific all the time, so I got a tattoo of his boat", I still think "wow what a fucking weirdo, they need a permanent stamp on their body to remind them of their grandpa.. Wouldn't a couple photos work instead of that?"
Any way you look at it, the tattoo is there to impress people or look badass. And I view it as a little tryhard and not very classy. There are better ways to look nice. Not to mention that when you're 40, you'll look fucking stupid with them anyway.
So that's my personal bias. I don't know how anyone else feels.
