Europe does not equal superior fashion sense except for a few parts of France and Italy and random people everywhere else. You would have to be comparing that to the most fashionable in the US instead of the lame /b/ US vs EU comparisons. For example, some fisherman in Louisiana wouldn't be representative of the most fashionable in the US just as some chav in England wouldn't be for Europe. There are people with a sense of fashion almost anywhere. Keep in mind that fashion is subjective. People may make a list of fashion rules, but that doesn't mean that someone doesn't have fashion sense just because they break some rules. While all people never like every fashion or style, they can still have a good sense of aesthetics.
I like focusing on styles more than fashion. America has some endearing and enduring styles which can only come from a relatively young nation that used to have a great frontier and industry (not so much anymore) and Europe has its own cultural styles that add to the collective.
So I really don't think there can be much of a claim in superiorty of dress either way. There are differences and those differences are often "copied" from one side of the ocean to another. Discounting everyone in a country as big and diverse as America just seems simplistic and ignorant.
Also, Europe is about the same size as the US with more than double the people.
I don't really care if you're a troll or not or if anyone reads this. I just had to get that off my chest, so to speak.
