My best friends mother is a seamstress. I've had her fit some shirts for me and they came out well, but she says she could do a much better job if she made them from scratch (the shirts really didn't fit lol salvation army).

She says she can look at most pictures I give her and find a pattern for them, then make it for me at a very low cost.

Ill post some of the pictures i'm going to send her. I just want to know what you think:

what is the type/approx thickness of the demin in the jacket that I should mention to her? or will she know from the pattern?

How likely do you think it is for her to be able to figure out how to properly make these? (I'm told she has years of experiences and does make wedding dresses from scratch.)

why wuld this be too good to be true?
