The fact is modeling is not a glamorous as those humorous videos make it out to be. Look at some agencies websites in New York and send them your digitals.
If I had to do it over again, I would have saved up $10,000 before moving to New York. It's impossible to get jobs without pictures, and impossible to get pictures if you can't get jobs. Once you get some material for your book, you still have to slug it out with the like of RJ on castings. I did New York for a year and didn't make a cent. I only book a single editorial for Vman, and I didn't even get in the picture. I said fuck it and went to Korea, and they stole all my money. I quit, tried grad school, and said fuck and went to China. They stole all money too. Now I'm in Malaysia, and my management is legit. I am getting a lot of work, so hopefully I can hit Europe and NYC again after this then do another round in Asia.
It's not for the faint of heart or those with rejection issues.
