>>13581771Oh yeah. TONS AND TONS of variables.
I'm studying software engineering. What interests me most, and what I really want to work on in the future is AI. I doubt it'll be done in my lifetime, but I really want is that computers get to the point of being indiscernible from other humans.
I mean, what if you could actively socialize with a computer? Think cleverbot 20.0.
There's SO many benefits to this. Imagine being able to *talk* to Google and ask it whatever.. It knows the kind of person you are, what you're really looking for, etc.
Tell it you're feeling down, it asks why. Say you're lonely. It asks if you want some music. Or you could tell it about your conversation with a girl in class today. IT COULD TELL YOU WHERE YOU WENT WRONG. it could tell you how to fix it. uurrrhh yeah that would be awesome.
I mean, if there's people out there that can tell you what you did wrong, why can't a computer learn from several experts and come up with its own conclusions.
But yeah, that's why I think that way. To come up with a way to have a computer *understand* a person.
