There is nothing stopping these people from spending time with each other. So what if one doesn't drink, or eat the same huge meal, etc. Spending time together is what matters in the long run...

It's a sad state of affairs when you get mad about the fact that you cannot force a person into the status quo in order to keep your personal insecurities from being questioned.
