I had a dog once. He was the "beta" dog in human terms, he showed no dominance over his dog-brother or his dog-mom. They would constantly pick on him while he was trying to play fetch with someone. The hardest biter. Through being picked on so much by the other dogs, he had gotten stronger. He had not given up. Over time, through hard work and dedication, through struggles and conflict, he had become the alpha-male. He had never once given up. When I realized all of this, I promised to be just like him.
