Aside from that, you have to be careful (albeit this is more for people who cannot properly control their diets themselves) because your body metabolizes fructose differently from glucose.
Essentially, just like ethanol, because your body cannot actually process these, the job falls to your liver. Essentially, when you intake an excess of fructose (really, or glucose) without a proper amount of fiber in your diet, you're shitting up your liver.
I'm not saying you can't bulk on sugar, but it's not a healthy way to bulk, even in moderation.
