So long as you have this option, USE it. Devote your time to improving, rather than lamenting. Learn everything you can, to live the most of your life, and one day its application will mean everything.

The next page, write society. Research social situations, women, even pick up artist (pua) shit for kicks. Hear their thoughts too, and let it churn inside. But then there's step two: go outside. Meet a stranger. Let the spagetti flow as you stutter the fuck out of "Err, h-hi. I.. Heh, fuck this is awkward, but I wanted to meet someone, and just talk for a second. Do you mind? What's your name, do you go to school, music," ect. find a mutual interest. If it's an older person, they have a whole life full of things you couldn't imagine.

Maybe that second step is too soon, or on day one you found something else of interest. Make a page for it. You don't have to write anything on these pages but the one word you researched. Money. Jobs. Foreign countires. Languages. Love. Philosophy. Medicine. Fitness. Nutrition. Comedy.

Fuck, just live life, even if it takes a screen to start seeing it.

When I think the opposite, what Frost was saying was that he didnt know where each path led, "he looked down one as far as he could, to where it bent in the undergrowth". To him both paths looked relatively equal, at least in the beginning "Though as for that, the passing there had worn them really about the same"/ "Both that morning equally lay".

He wants to try both paths, but he knows he cant "And sorry I couldnt travel both"/"I shall be telling this with a sigh somewhere, ages and ages hence"/"Oh I kept the first for another day, yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if i should ever come back".

At the end he says he choose the path less traveled by and remarks "And that has made all the difference", but difference sometimes implies just that, difference, not necessarily better or worse, just different.

Basically I dont know if there is a better path, and even then how could I know? You make the best decision you can, but at the end of the day, who knows where the other path would have taken you? Youll never really know. Its just part of the human condition basically.

Without a doubt, it'll happen soon. All it takes is the complete rejuvenation of a cell through reproduction. Likely around the time we cure cancer through gene-therapy it'll be here. But also, I don't think it will be something released to the public or media. Everyone would be scrambling for immortality, and there's a lot of people in this planet we all know shouldn't be allowed to live forever. Just THINK, not through the glorious idealism of a world without fear of age, but of real people given this ability.

If it does get out, it will be marketed harshly. $100,000 for a clock-back. $100,000,000 even, no matter how cheap actual production is. People will still scramble, always, and some companies will score trillions off the viscous, never ending cycle. It'll take years upon years for a fairness and balance and justice to be meted on its monopoly.

When this becomes possible though, our Achilles heel will be our nervous systems. That's not something that decays through cell division like the rest of our bodies. Keep it protected and sharp (I recommend looking at magnesium and countering its deficiency).

Our goals though must be in earning the privileged of knowing and receiving. Be THAT great, that powerful and influential. Be in research - already have a foothole in its discovery and later marketing.

My speculation is Capitalism won't survive the shockwave.

I share these sentiments. I like the idea of immortality just like I like the idea of living, but death isn't that bad either. It's just that life is even better. Immortality is something I want, not something I need - it's something I could live without.

I think where all insecurity comes from, and all things holding people back is fear. That sounds like some self help BS I know but its true. People are afraid of being alone, having no food ect All things linked back to evolutionary fuck ups. Nobody can never feel fear, but you can work against it so you don't feel it next time in that situation. I constantly remind myself I will only live once, so want to try and do all I can, rather than doing nothing out of the fear of the unknown.

2 years ago I quit university. I was doing a course without much employment prospects (As are most students in the anglo world, but everyone right now is burying their heads in the sand to hide from the problem). My parents freaked the fuck out, my friends called me stupid, but I didn't give a fuck. After enough time telling myself I only live once I realised I had to live life on my terms not how others want me to if I want to enjoy it.

For a year I worked at a supermarket while living with my parents, I saved up around 70% of my wage, and in the meantime got /fit/, got much better at guitar, taught myself code, and finally got a girlfriend as I got /fit/. While most people thought my prospects were gone I looked better, felt better and was obviously happier.

After breaking up with my girlfriend I went travelling around continental Europe and SE Asia for around 5/6 months, and it was the best thing I ever did. I won't recall any stories since there are far too many, but I met a ridiculous amount of interesting people, had more sex with different women than I had in my life, and got to see and do some incredible shit, from going to Angkor Wat stoned at sunrise to learning to fish oldschool Thai style (Best feeling ever when you catch one), and partying almost every night.

I came back having grown massively as a person. My confidence is through the roof, bitch I've travelled the world my problem when I was a virgin 16 year old seem baby like in comparison.

I've now opened my own business, almost broke even, having a website making a grand a month through ad sense and live a pretty fulfilling life.

I'm not saying everyone should do it how I have done, basically do what you WANT to do and where your passions are, do that, constantly improve yourself and success will follow!

Its not a matter of hard, quite simply if you create a website which lots of people visit (1000+ a day) you can earn money through adsense.

Start out by learn HTML, CSS and javascript, then come up with a good idea

pretty much in the same position as you were as well, 2 years of a history degree done, but i knew from the first few weeks that it was a useless degree but i was too pussy to drop out. now ive only got 8 months of it left (the degree) i might aswell finish, in case i need it in the future.
however my mindset has gone from finishig degree, getting a graduate job etc. to finishing degree then do whatever the fuck i want, travel to aus, start a property business up
