Started gym last week and have a few questions:

1. How long is a good rest period during sets?
2. One of my fitness goals was to get my body fat under 10%, the trainer in the gym sudjested I cut out all carbs after 12 in the afternoon. Any truth to this?
3. The gym gave me a fitness program but SS seems simpler, stick to gym plan or use SS?
4. If im doing SS what is a good ab exersise to add?
