Hey /fit/, A buddy of mine was drafted into the NFL yesterday. Pretty rad, eh? Anyway, when he was a walk-on as a freshman he weighed ~195lbs at 6'4". Now, 4 years later, he weighs 250lbs. He's pretty lean and cut too (he's a TE). Is it possible to pack on 55lbs of muscle in 4 years without steroids?>mfw I saw him get drafted

14lbs of muscle a year on average over 4 years sounds possible while staying natty. Looking for opinions.

Completely feasible. Stop being a jellymad faggot and trying to explain his success away with "cheating".

>>7213202 I'm actually wondering because I plan on achieving the same results minus being drafted by the NFL. Not jelly. Proud of him actually.

>NFL draft Almost certainly roided. Pretty common for coaches/staff to introduce it these days.

>>7213426 I myself have put on 35 pounds in the two months since swim season ended; I estimate it's about 20 muscle/15 fat. With another month I could put on another ten pounds of muscle easily and cut a tad to take away some fat.
Definitely possible.

Roids these days i common as fuck. Roughly 1 in 20 that trains in some way have at some point used it. If someone seems to be taking roids it's in 99.9% of the case because the person is doing them. +Some ppl here need to get that gains aren't linear. They will be big in the beginning but gains slow down at a considerable rate after 1-2 years.

>>7213818 Thus, why he is asking for advice on gaining 55lbs so he's at the top
SteveFromAccounting !erw5rtWmSM
>>7213818 Exactly. Most websites had him projected as undrafted. But as you can tell from his muscle gain, he has a great work ethic. He has enough speed (4.8 40) to beat linebackers and get open. He has excellent hands and above average body control to catch the inaccurate pass. He's not large enough to be a solid blocking TE but i am optimistic that he'll have a decent shot at remaining on the team. And there's always free agency.
