also you say 'thus filled with calories' implying carbs have more calories than other macro nutrients, this sadly isn't the case. They have the say calories per gram as protein (4) and much less than fat (9).

Fruits are full of fructose, and generally are not that low-calorie. A small banana is over 100kcal...

To feel less hungry fill up on proper vegetables which are mostly fibre and water (not sugar like fruit). Also drink lots and lots of water, and high volume low calorie foods (of which vegetables are obviously the best). Either that or just fill up on lean protein. Casein is very satiating, and you can eat a shitload of chicken breasts/tuna without gaining fat.

Well you should be eating good food most of the time anyway. It's not a fad diet you do for 3 weeks before binging again like a stupid magazine reading woman, it's a permanent lifestyle change. The only difference is you should be eating less calories (and possibly more protein) to cut fat, then you can eat more calories to bulk or maintain weight. The types of food you eat shouldn't change too much

Slightly under-ripe bananas are great for cutting. They give you potassium to aid in recovery, and they have a certain quality of carb that satiates hunger for a time.

Apples are low-calorie, but not quite as good.

Don't let these idiots tell you that fruit is bad. Anything is bad in excess, but fruits are fine.

and of course i didn't mean fruits are BAD, but the way OP wrote he said it like hurp durp im on a cut so ill "FILL UP" with fruits 3-4 apples and 3-4 bananas is like 600-800 calories alone. Sure fruits are a "good" calorie source, because of vitamins, but they are simple carbs and are not the best alternative on a cut. You're better off eating more proteins and good fats, and "filling up" with vegetables, wich have 1/5 the calories of fruits.

i bet OP was like "eating healthy" without counting his calories, doesnt matter if you eat only celery, if you eat 6000 calories of celery you WILL GET FAT
