I'm not super beta so I can hold a conversation with them but it just doesn't go anywhere and their interest seems to just fizzle out after a while. I don't know how to make moves on them and how to flirt back instead of just having a normal conversation.

If they lose interest is because they don't feel like you are into them or they will get nothing from you, so they opt for retreat which seems to be the best option for them. OP here:

For example last night this girl came up and said she liked my necklace (It was a puzzle piece one I got from ebay), we started talking about clubbing and she was grabbing my hand, touching my chest and putting her face like cm's from mine. I felt like I should kiss her but I just didn't know how to do it. Eventually after 30 minutes she left and wasn't as flirty with me for the rest of the night.

I maintained eye contact, and I touched her back and got close to her but not really in an especially sexual way.

What did I do wrong? How could I have made-out with her?
