I'm currently finishing up a cut, and thinking of starting a really lean bulk over the summer, and am wondering if creatine will help. the problem is that the last time i tried taking creatine for a couple weeks (this was like over a year ago, so I don't really remember how long i was taking it for) it started making my gut bulge the fuck out (seriously, started looking like i had a basketball in my gut, I was scared). I stopped taking it, and it seemed to go away. Do all creatines affect some people like this? or is it just certain ones? at the time, I was taking GNC's Pro Performance Creatine Monohydrate. I know now how much GNC sucks, so maybe it was just their brand?

any tips? help?
