okay /fit/ question

how the FUCK do you bulk and manage to work out?
I ate ~3000 calories yesterday and felt so sluggish, tired, and it was literally uncomfortable to even move-- there was no way I was going to make it to the gym.

Today it's a bit better, but my stomach still feels uncomfortably stretched and I can't imagine having a good workout when I can't even stand up straight...
what do you guys do? Should I go first thing in the morning, before I've eaten? Just push through it? I feel like if I have to exert myself I'm going to projectile vomit all over the squat rack.
