I've had a lot of trouble with locking out on my bench press for quite some time now despite trying wave progression (which helped me add 35lbs to my 1rm).

I ended up upping the sets and lowering the reps, I do 5sets of heavy triples and in fact its been working great so far (3months).

Doing a rep scheme of 5/3/1 working up to a heavy single on rack benching has helped tremendously.

Let me know your thoughts on my routine.

>Monday - Legs
Stiff Legged deadlifts 4x5
Back Squat/Front Squat (alternating weekly) 3x5
OverHead Squat 2x12
DragonFlags 3xF
