Also you can tattoo stretchmarks as long as they aren't wide and deep like the grand canyon. (I.e puberty ones you can tattoo; fat as fatass ones usually you can't) Fun fact: zyzz tattooed his arm ones and his oil spill scar.

I've always been really selfconscious of mine-- they're all over my hip area, ass, lovehandles, inner thighs. I got them when I was 13, at 5'4" and like 100 pounds, but I grew hips FAST.

They don't look that bad but that's because my webcam is shit and the lighting sucks. I feel like they make me look awful naked and in bathingsuits, I'm so jealous of girls who don't have them and also angry because I've never been fat.

Just wanna warn y'all. Don't just tattoo over big large stretch marks. Hell, even smaller stretch marks, you should ask for a tattoo from a tattoo artist specialized in doing them over stretch marks. It is because the texture and how the skin reacts on stretch marks isnt the same as with «normal» skin, that is to say the ink from the tattoo when it is being done might spill to adjacent skin, in other words, your tattoo won't look good.

Wont happen 100% of the time, but tattooing over marks bear a risk of having a shitty tattoo cuz of spills, no matter how skilled the artist

guy here: i had some on my back, not nearly as mild as the ones OP posted, in fact it looked like wolverine slashed my back open. it went away after like a week of using this stuff called mederma (i think). i didnt even use it as directed either, it says to use 3x a day and i only used it once. quite frankly i think th slightly noticeable ones look sexy on strippers. good luck hoe.

Wow, is this what the world has come to? The biggest self-image anxieties in women are stemming from the fact that they can't confidently carouse around half-naked in a public setting to get oggled by anyone that cares?

Who the fuck cares? How much do you want to bet that the people who make fun of stretchmarks actually have a few of them themselves? (Protip: Almost everyone who hit puberty has at least a few.)

Lastly, fashion and beauty changes over time. If you were living in 1800's France you'd want to be pudgy, and you'd "love" those stretchmarks since it was a status symbol that you were rich enough to buy food and provide for yourself/family. Some people used to (and some still do) like fair and paler skin as compared to tan because it's a status symbol that one was rich enough to not be out in the fields all day working and getting burnt in the sun.

But what a shame that being "thin" has evolved to the point where it has no social value in society. It's not even about being a "healthy" human being anymore. It's about being a stupid bimbo that's so god damn insecure that there's fear in eating a salad so as to be able to be seen half-naked in public. What a noble, respectable reason to doubt your security, self-respect, and to hate your body. Makes me proud to be a woman! /SARCASM!/RANT/STUPID BITCHES!
