unfortunately the more you dislocate it, the more likely it is that you'll dislocate it again

There's a lot of potential damage that could have been done, or could be done if or when you dislocate it again. I would suggest seeing an orthopedic surgeon, and finding a good physio.

I've dislocated my shoulder numerous times, and am looking to get surgery to repair my torn labrum later this year

Dislocated both shoulders last month playing rugby. I get discount physio with my rugby club and I definitely think it has benefits so I would advise to see one if you have the dosh. Buy a theraband and do the exercises the physio sets (or google them if you don't see one) and smash them erryday. I have only just been able to do some bench (incline is easier on the shoulders) and doing some straight-legged deads to strengthen shoulder girdle and get the shoulder used to taking weight. Back up around 100kgs for that so I'm happy with how quickly I've recovered. Massage has been a blessing (real massage, with a bar, pain is gain, not relaxation bullshit) and just do some front squats (hurts to tuck elbows back when doing back squats) and core stuff till you can do a full ROM of a powerclean and OHP with bar only without pain then just start building little bit by little bit. Gotta get dat ligament strength. Muscles can do it, ligaments can't. I'd stay away from pull-ups for a while if it's popped out after this long.

Don't get treatment at all. It's natural to dislocate your shoulder when you have parcintothis extensors. This means your joints are extremely flexible and you can pop them in anytime.

Just use a balloon filled raw sewage to treat the area of discomfort. Remember to use a steel brush to poke the area of irritation and try to get a dog to lick it since their saliva can kill any bacteria especially the one from the raw sewage.
