So....long time lurker, first time poster.

I've been following the convict conditioning thing. Everything went fine until I reached step 8 in the push-up progression.

I can't do a single half-arm push-up the way its pictured. My form keeps fucking up. I either fall on the side, or bend my spine in an awkward way that it hurts. Doing the push-up with my legs spread its way easier but it the weight you press is smaller.

Has anyone managed to do the push-ups the way that guy in the picture is doing them? Are my core muscles weak or is it just impossible?
