I will admit we' d have huge problems if they were legalized. If people manage to overdose on multivitamins and alcohol, just imagine what they can do when they start playing with their endocrine system?

The real reasons:
To have little to no side effects, you have to know exactly what you're doing, and do steroids very carefully. If you mess up doses, overdose, underdose, or take too little of PCT, or OCT, you will fuck up your body. People don't know how to do their research, they'll just derp and be like "Dbol makes me big! I'll take twice as much, and get twice as big!".

Secondly, the government has too much control over what we do, and they want to make us follow their morals, and they want to define what's ethical and what isn't. They want to say what's right and wrong.

Thirdly, propaganda.

Isnt it a double standard though?

Women can go get hormone therapy in the form of birth control pills to stop them from having a period and getting pregnant. But dudes cant go in and ask their doctor for roids. Think about how nice it would be to have an endocrinologist prescribe you a cycle, and monitor your bloodwork throughout the process. It would be safe, and prevent all the horror stories you hear about steroids from happening.

It's sad that a bunch of scientists and doctors will recommend something to politicians, and then politicians will go against what the experts recommend (in this case, they criminalized steroids). Step 1 - Find a young but responsible doctor. Most open-minded doctors will do just fine

Step 2 - Be honest with him, tell him you will keep doing it with or without medical advise but that you would prefer to do it with a professional monitoring your health. Show how much you know about hormones.

Step 3 - Doctor who gives a damn about moral code will agree. If not, find another one.

Its like my father told me when I was bitching to him that I needed to find a new gym. Most people take roids because they are not happy with the way they are and they can't accept the fact that genetics play a role in build.
