>>7226841When I was heavier it was tough on my knees to even fast-walk daily. I sprained my MCL pretty bad one time, and runner's knee was a regular thing, but I just pressed through it.
These days, though, I run every day with no ill effects. I did have to spend a lot of energy and time and money getting the right shoes, though. Finally settled on the Nike Structure Triax+ 14 (holy hell long name) and now my knees, shins, everything, it a-ok running every day. No pain, even. Good times.
