>>7228287The body will only grow muscle when it's joint integrity, connective tissue, bone density, health, endocrine system, nutrition, etc is ready for it.
Taking steroids is basically like a giant bypass, and causes shitloads of problems like torn biceps, shoulder issues, hormone dysfunction etc. The large majority of recreational users have no business using. Their lifestyle is nowhere near capable of minimizing risk that steroids can cause.
An elite athlete on the other hand, is probably the best candidate to use steroids. They have spent 10+ years developing a solid foundation of full spectrum health that can manage using steroids.
It's not about "getting results faster", because if you stop taking steroids, your body will homeostasis right back to where your lifestyle and environment dictates. The human body isn't a video game character with cheat codes.
The gym I go to has a lot of steroid users, they are constantly fluctuating in size being on and off cycle, out of about 30 of them, maybe 3-5 are stronger than me. They all have postural issues, bacne, weird ass development etc. Lots of them have crap knees.
The majority of them didn't spend anytime learning a god damn thing before they went on juice, they dont' know proper form, they dont know how to eat, they dont understand biomechanics. Maybe they can get by in their 20s and snort coke and party on the weekends with 5% bodyfat and 18 inch biceps, but that is a candle you are burning on both ends. The fitness industry has done a whole lot of garbage to all y'alls heads making you think that this is what physical fitness is about, and its the fucking poison that is killing a lot of young males, crippling them inside.
