I rent an apartment ~1 mile from my office, and she's always going on about how I get so much exercise walking to and from work every day (with no trace of sarcasm), then gets offended when I laugh and say that walking a mile is not exercise.

true, but to be honest i switched to the form in the dave tate video when i stalled at 225 x 5, now i'm about to hit 265 x 5 and i feel like the form better transfers the weight to the chest and tris with less strain on the shoulders

definitely feels stronger and probably safer as you go up in weight

Open heart surgery is serious business, bro. When he says "didn't eat for 4 days" he was probably on an IV drip. My dad had open heart surgery, and he lost /at least/ 30 lbs over the course of his bed-ridden recovery. Though my dad is probably much older than Anon in question, I don't doubt his lost gains.

The only other fat people stories I have would come from my normal/slightly overweight friends who aren't that bad people but gain a normal amount of pleasure from eating out/friday night in with some weed, a bottle of scotch and a couple of pizza's etc so I feel kind of unnecessary making it into 'fat people stories'

BUT since I cleaned up my diet, they don't express this pleasure around me anymore and have gone on diets themselves, kind of weird huh? Euler's Formula (note: not equation) takes the form of e^(ix)=cos(x)+isin(x)

Euler's IDENTITY is a special case of this where x=pi and the equation is rearranged to be e^(ipi)+1=0, so it's not exactly in complex notation.

Well most people I know are in their late teens/early twenties and are completely into the Planet Fitness ordeal.

You should totally go hit up one of those places! haha

But, really, the nicest, (seemingly) most well equipped and educated gym I have been to is Triton Gym. Maybe look into that?

I had that same problem, I was on an appetite decreasing medication for a longtime in my early teens, so I never learned to eat well and in correct portions because why the fuck would I, I'd never experienced being fat teenage girl no matter how many cookies I ate

Got so fat when I came off it. Ugh. I felt so much despair like, why me, why are my genetics so bad that I can't eat normally AND be skinny. I just didn't realize I was not eating normally at all and that people who did eat like me and were skinny were just crazy blessed and probably going to be fat as adults

Some years of healthy eating later and it's second nature, very rarely miss shitty food or find eating an exciting occasion to base my day around :)

Thanks for posting. Yeah I hope that one day she will decide to take some initiative and focus on fixing her diet. Right now she seems to ignore her problems because she still has a boyfriend and his opinion is the only one which matters to her. Even though she's happy I'm still worried that she will keep gaining weight to the point where it starts to take its toll on her health.
