Women want you to look good enough so they still find you attractive, but not so good that they feel like you're too attractive. So you get a lot of chicks who go "ewwww, muscles are so horrible" and girlfriends who see some muscled guy in a film and say to their partners "I'd hate if you had a body like that, it's disgusting", and, "You don't need to start working out, I love you just the way you are."
I have no doubt there are some women who feel that way. But the vast majority who say that shit are just saying it so that their boyfriends don't hit the gym. Because if he gets in shape, gets nice shoulders, a nice chest, nice arms, loses that gut and shows off some abs, other girls will start looking, and the last thing she wants is competition.
You want proof? Pay attention to how girls react to these kind of bodies when they think their men are not paying attention, or when they are with their friends in a public place. They go gooey for a well muscled guy.
Shit, when I went to see Thor at the cinema and that guy took his top off, I could literally hear vaginas getting wetter all across the aisles.
