I'm trying to fix the 4chan Plus extension for Chrome but I'm stuck.

Seems as though Chrome has a memory leak when you us chrome.extension.sendRequest, which means the auto-update thread feature causes the extension to consume way too much memory (I'm talking 200MB+ if you leave lots of thread tabs open).

Now, the workaround for this is to send messages through a single port using port.postMessage instead of chrome.extension.sendRequest but I'll be damned if I can get it to work.

So if you feel like helping (or calling me a faggot), please post in this thread. I've already installed Gentoo and deleted system32 so there's no need to ask me to do either.
